This really burns my potatoes. Roy Romanow, in an article in the National Post, wants private health care debated publicly.
This is the man who, in my opinion, has done more to stifle the health care debate in Canada by slavishly abiding to his narrow, left wing ideology.
Note to Roy: Shut your pie hole, you have done enough damage already.

Question: What's wrong with having politicians debate the virtues/evils of private/public health care? Considering they constantly avoid the issue it would be a refreshing change to see them face it head-on.

Nothing wrong with having a debate on this point, it is a debate that we should have had a long time ago. My problem is that I feel Mr. Romanow has had a hand in stifling that debate and I find it incredible that now he wants to have it.
