I Love Parrish

I love Carolyn Parrish (don't tell the GF). She is always good for a laugh. Paul Martin must be stewing.

Of particular interest is when she asked reporters not to print her comments, thereby ensuring they would.

Hint to Ms. Parrish: When you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

Hope for the Girlfriend

Maybe there is hope for the Girlfriend. We were driving in the car today and I was commenting about Canada Post, Andre Ouellette and the developing scandal of his travel expenses, and she made a comment about the waste and corruption of the government. Of course I probably pissed her off by hammering on about the evils of big government, etc. I have to work on that.

Welcome. My girlfriend and I recently moved in together. I lean more to the right side of the political spectrum, while she a bit more left. Left might be an understatement, as her parents used to campaign for the NDP. I am not sure why we get along, as we are both somewhat opinionated. Perhaps it is because she is not as loud (or rude) about her opinions.

I started this blog because she seems to always win our arguments. I am hoping for some support. My theory being similar to that of the army, if you cannot hit the enemy, maybe if you shoot enough, you might get lucky.
