I am usually a bit late to the pop culture stuff, but here is a band that was on Saturday Night Live recently and I enjoyed this song, called Somebody That I Used to Know, by Gotye.
The baby is now one month old. She is a bit fussy and wants to be held all the time. We do everything with one arm. The Wife visited the doctor for her regular post baby visit and she is pretty much back to her pre baby weight. Not bad for a 41 year old. Breastfeeding helps, but I think her reduced carb intake from my diet probably helped a bit.
209 pounds this week. Lost one pound from last week.
Still pretty much the same. I have not been following my diet very closely. I have been giving in to craving for bread, crackers and ice cream. The Wife is getting a bit tired of my diet. When I make supper I tend to not make a carb, as it is just temptation for me. She likes carbs and is starting to complaint about her being on my diet as well.
Three weeks and no change. I seem to be in a bit of a rut. I guess I should be happy, considering the major life change we have been through. Usually something like that would cause me to lose ground in the weight war.
Back on schedule this week. Imanaged to get in 3 cardio and weight training workouts and 2 yoga sessions. I broke the diet a number of times, including having pasta.
The Wife and the baby are now at home, but the baby is not on a schedule. Not much sleep going on in our house.
